Hollow Top To Port Eynon

PREAMBLE

GR 439858
Marked on old OS maps as, Yellow Top. (Paviland has been referred to as "Yellow Top" on account of the yellow-orange lichen all over the rock.)

This slabby and somewhat loose lump of rock overlooks Juniper Wall

ACCESS

From the stile at the top of the valley (see Paviland approach) take a left (eastwards) and then, after 100 metres, descend the first valley on your right (south). Hollow Top is the large, rounded collection of slabs about 200 metres below on your left.

TIDAL STATUS

Non-tidal.

DESCENTS

Walk down west or east.

The route takes any line up the slabby south western face.
